ESSENTIAL OILS – TEMPORARY FIXES
Temporary fixes like essential oils, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids can quickly support brain chemistry and reduce symptoms like anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, focus, hormonal balance, anger, sensory processing, executive functioning, etc. by helping individuals feel more stable and motivated while working through deeper mental health challenges. These natural aids can enhance mood and cognitive function, making it easier to engage with and benefit from a long-term mental health program, like the 4 Months to Amazing Core Wellness Program. Although they are just “temporary” fixes, they are needed to help push the mind and body to function the way they should whilst completing the core program. If suicidal thoughts, violence, mania, psychotic behavior, anger/impulsivity and/or mood swings are part of your mental challenges, these particular temporary fixes must be addressed first. For example, hypothetically speaking, let’s say you are someone with anxiety and learning disabilities, but that you also go through episodes of mania. If you choose to address your anxiety and/or learning disabilities before addressing your mania, then more manic episodes than what you normally experience will surface and seem worse than they were before. Anything that is not initially addressed will emerge and come across as worse than it was before. This is why it is so important to manage any of the potentially dangerous issues first. Once again, these include, but are not limited to, suicidal thoughts, violence, mania, psychotic behavior, anger/impulsivity and/or mood swings. If unsure of which mental challenges you may be facing, a self diagnostic tool such as muscle testing can be utilized to see which of the following categories need to be addressed. And then one last time, manage any of the aforementioned first if they apply to you. Once feeling better in those potentially dangerous areas, feel free to work on any other issues. Once the mental challenges that need to be remedied are discovered, then muscle testing can again be used to see which supplements are needed within each mental challenge. For Suicidal Thoughts Apply 1 to 2 drops of the following recommended essential oils across the Forehead (for prefrontal cortex), behind the neck, and on the temples (for the Hypothalamus): Rescuer®, Cheer®, Citrus Bloom®
For Violence/Rage Apply 1 to 2 drops of the following recommended essential oils over the Liver: Console®, Motivate®.
For Mania Apply 1 to 2 drops of the following recommended essential oils over the Basal Ganglia (place oils on top of head [just at one point in the center, so center-top], and behind the ears) and the Hippocampus (just above both ears and on center-top of head for the Hippocampus): Balance®, doTerra Turmeric essential oil
For Psychotic behavior Apply 1 to 2 drops of the following recommended essential oils over the Hippocampus (just above both ears and on center-top of head for the Hippocampus), and across the forehead: Peace®, Air-X®. Suggested Internal Supplements: Lithium Orotate (No more than ½ capsule of either Horbaach OR ½ tablet of Nutrient Carriers Advanced Research brand), valerian
For Anger, Impulsivity, and/or Mood Swings Apply 1 to 2 drops of the following recommended essential oils over the Liver, Heart, Temples, and across the forehead: Balance®, Peace®, Citrus Bliss®, Forgive®. Also rub cannabidiol oil over the Liver; organic hemp oil would work just fine in place of cannabidiol oil, and is also less expensive. Suggested Internal Supplements: L-theanine (Be sure to muscle test whether or not L-theanine is needed. There can be negative emotional side effects if taken when not needed), Valine, Taurine, Holy Basil, Lion’s Mane
For Anxiety/Emotional Stability Apply 1 to 2 drops of the following recommended essential oils over the Thyroid, Liver, and Hippocampus (just above both ears and on center-top of head for the Hippocampus): Passion®, Motivate®, and Align® Suggested Internal Supplements: Inositol, Lemon Balm, Vitamin B-6, Phenylalanine, Skull Cap, Turmeric
For Depression, Fatigue, Unmotivated, and/or Apathy Apply 1 to 2 drops of the following recommended essential oils Under the Eyes (At least 1 inch below eyes, at your own risk. Not recommended for children), Hypothalamus (back of neck and temples), and Adrenals: Motivate®, Arise®, Console® Suggested Internal Supplements: Choline, Holy Basil, B-vitamins (full spectrum), methionine, Astragalus, Bacopa Monnieri, Cordyceps
For Sensory Processing Issues Apply 1 to 2 drops of the following recommended essential oils over the Cerebellum (place oils on the back of the neck), Basal Ganglia (place oils on top of head [just at one point in the center, so center-top], and behind the ears), and Thyroid: Citrus Bloom®, Peace®, Cheer®, Forgive® Suggested Internal Supplements: DMAE, citrulline, eleuthero, tryptophan (it may help for some to take tryptophan in tandem with vitamin B6), 5-HTP
For Learning Disabilities, Focus, and Memory Problems Apply 1 to 2 drops of the following recommended essential oils along the Cranial Midline Canal, over the Small Intestines, Basal Ganglia/Circuitry (place oils behind the ears and on top of the head [center-top]), and Cerebellum (and surrounding organs – place oils behind the neck): Peace®, Anchor® Suggested Internal Supplements: B Vitamins (full spectrum), glycine, N-Acetyl-Cysteine, vitamin K, Isoleucine
For Executive Functioning Apply 1 to 2 drops of the following recommended essential oils across the Forehead (for prefrontal cortex), Basal Ganglia (place oils on top of head [just at one point in the center, so center-top], and behind the ears), and Hippocampus (just above both ears and also on center-top of head for the Hippocampus): Tulsi, Douglas Fir Suggested Internal Supplements: shitake mushroom, huperzine A, St. John’s wort, salt (¼ teaspoon in water. Add honey to make it taste better), vitamin D, vitamin K, tryptophan, 5-HTP
For Hormonal and Sexual Balance Apply 1 to 2 drops of the following recommended essential oils over the Heart, Ovaries (women) or Testicles (men): Clary Sage, Douglas Fir, Console® Suggested Internal Supplements: Threonine for both men and women, pueraria morifica (women only), yohimbe bark (men only) For women – Uterus – Vitex (best as a douche but can take internally), Cheer® essential oil (place on lower back)
